Transform your garden into a soothing bird sanctuary. A ceramic bird bath is especially designed to attract birds but not for captivity purposes. It can accommodate urban dwelling birds to give your garden a nature-like ambiance. Put water on the top basin of the bath. The insects and moss that will thrive on the ceramic basin will serve as food for the birds as they bathe and play in the water.
Ceramic bird baths are best placed in shaded or covered areas to make birds feel more secure. Put some sand on the ceramic basin so birds can have secure footing. Maintain the water level up to three inches deep to keep birds from getting submerged. Replace water as often as possible to prevent buildup of mosquito breeders.
