Be one with nature and encourage our fine-feathered friends to feel at home. Offer birds an environment to drink and bathe in. Did you know that fresh and clean water is always an ideal invitation for birds? According to experts a basin of water attracts more breeds of birds than feeders do. Take full advantage of bird baths by knowing first some of these useful things bird lovers should know:

1. An ideal birdbath must be shallow with no more than 3-inches deep at the center. It must get shallower near the edge. Put rocks or sand in the bottom so that the birds will have good footing. 2. Find rough bottomed birdbaths that won’t let birds to slip and lose their footing. Glazed, slippery bottoms caused by molds and moss are not good for birds. 3. Install a dripper near the basin. The dripping sound of water attracts birds since most breeds can easily sense the presence of water.
