When you live in the city, you get used to certain things like traffic, car horns, police sirens and public parks. If you live in the country or in the suburbs you get to enjoy yards, fresh air and silence. When I stayed in the country for a couple of months I spent the first few days visiting my neighbors. I was so curious to see their houses, their yards and their pets. I saw that there were several houses with wooden bird feeders in their yards.

Wooden bird feeders are simply any piece of wood that can serve as a plate or tray for birds to feed. However some bird feeders are fancy and creative. Some of them are shaped like houses. The designs invite birds to come eat and rest. Some are specially designed to make it easy for birds to eat and drink.
