Feeding birds is an enjoyable activity. It gives you the satisfaction of knowing that you have fed a hungry little bird. It can even be addicting. But once you pour out your first batch of seeds you can be hooked forever. You will be committed to providing food to birds that will definitely come by every day. Surely you will not disappoint these little winged creatures.

I imagine that your next obsession will be learning about different kinds of birds and the kind of feeders that they prefer. Whatever kinds of feeders you set up, be they hopper, tube or hummingbird feeders, you can always use some tips. Feeders should always be kept clean. Never use commercial cleansers; they are very toxic to birds. Choose the best location for your feeders and these are near shrubs or trees. Putting them beside a glass window will reflect the foliage and confuse the bird. They could fly into the glass which can hurt the bird or kill it outright.
