Let the Humming Begin

Invite hummingbirds to visit your backyard often. It would be very entertaining to watch these beautiful birds flit about. Hang decorative hummingbird feeders to encourage them to stay longer. Position them close to flowers in the wild, or near flowering shrubs and vines. These are the top places that naturally attract hummingbirds.

Remember that location is vital when positioning feeders. If you don’t have a lot of flowers, shrubs or vines that attract these birds, try hanging red ribbons from the feeders instead. Hummingbird feeders come in various styles and sizes. Although those made of plastic are inexpensive, many people choose those made of hand blown glass as these look more elegant and decorative.
