In this day and age of viruses and illnesses, we cannot blame people for being paranoid. One of the most dreaded diseases specially in tropical countries is malaria. This is one reason why some homes get a garden insect netting. This is to keep the insects away from kids specially. Garden insect netting is also placed over certain plants which you would not want insects or bees to land on.

There are certain areas of the garden which tend to attract insects. If you have kids who you would like to protect from insects you can place a garden insect netting there and let them play there. There are anti mosquito lotions but all you need to do is ask parents and they will tell you that they are not that effective in the long run. An old fashioned net works every time. They are cheaper, last longer and are more effective.
