solar statues

Nothing looks more appealing than having cute little woodland creatures standing on your front lawn. Better yet, little woodland creatures that light up when the sun goes down. My mother recently bought a couple of these statues for her front yard. When she called me to tell me to come over and take a look at them, she said to come when it’s dark so I can see them light up.
I mentioned how she should be saving energy and not wasting it on stuff like that. But she told me that she bought solar statues so they don’t need batteries or electricity to light up. What they do is collect as much power in the daytime then use that stored energy to light up when it gets dark. Suffice it to say, I was converted and went out the following day to get a few of those solar statues for my front lawn.
