Fun at Your Feet

I grew up next to a house with a big garden. My grandparents’ house was our little playground. There was a swing, a see saw and a slide. There were enough trees for us to climb and fall from. It had a charming landscape made up of unique stepping stones that led to a mini pond.
The mini pond had several goldfishes. When we were kids we loved jumping over the unique stepping stones and throwing grains at the goldfishes. The stones were shaped oddly: there were stones shaped like a star, a fish, the moon and some shaped like animals. The house was torn down and transformed into a residential apartment ten years ago. The building’s tenants still enjoy a landscaped garden today although it is probably half the size of the original one.
