The best time to enjoy your backyard patio is when it is warm and breezy. A patio is additional space, just outside the main house where family members can gather. A patio may be covered with a roof but with the walls left open. It may also be roofless in which case outdoor umbrellas may be set up to provide shade from the harsh sunlight. The patio can be as simple or elaborate as the owner wants it to be.
Oftentimes, the look of a patio is defined by the kind of furniture that is used to furnish it. If you want your patio to be a comfortable place to lounge around in, furnish it with light furniture with lots of cushions. If you intend to have meals in the patio, it should have a comfortable table and a set of dining chairs. It you just want an open space where you can soak up the sun, wooden or wrought iron chairs will suffice.
