Small spaces are the result of the high cost of real estate. There is a need to take advantage of every nook and cranny, no matter the size. The small outdoor space at the back of your house can be converted into a patio or lanai. It will be great for hanging out on warm evenings. It can be a lovely breathing space when the confines of the house seem to be getting to you.
You will need a few pieces to turn your seemingly useless spot into a functional space. A set of table and chairs is basic. If you can get a lounger it will give you the choice of sitting up or resting at an angle. Find a place for outdoor lanterns. They add a kind of mystic on moonless nights. Fill the space with greens and you are all set to enjoy a healthy dose of sunshine and fresh air.
