Twist and Spout

When you have small children around, your house could get messy. My kids run around the house in their muddy shoes and throw their toys around. We have a small garden and sometimes I try to keep them there so that they do not mess up the house. One way to distract them is to make them water the plants. My eight year old son enjoys watering the plants. He grabs any bottle fills it water and throws it all on one plant. Recently I got him a Twist and Spout so he can learn how to pour water carefully instead of just sloshing it.

The Twist and Spout is a simple yet smart invention. It is made of plastic and you can attach it easily to most bottles. You just slip it in the opening and twist to tighten it. Then you pour the liquid easily to any container. You can minimize the mess, especially the ones caused by kids.
