How to Start a Thriving Farm

My used to be little girl will try anything once. And she will do it with passion. At one time she was into diving and at another time into wakeboarding. She also spent hours in the kitchen perfecting her poached egg. Recently she announced that she was tired of Farmville on FaceBook. She was going to tend her living farm. Not a real farm but a few potted herbs on her kitchen window sill.

When she found minor success with her herbs she decided she wanted to plant tomatoes. She used to buy her herbs already potted so there was no problem about soil preparation. But for tomatoes she wanted to do it from seeds. That will involve soil preparation for planting tomatoes. She must have successfully hurdled that step because the last time she posted a picture, the seeds have sprouted and little green leaves were peeping out of the brown covering.
