Ways of Going Green

It is just another term for organic gardening. Green gardening is a concept in gardening that does not use artificial chemicals as fertilizers and pesticides. There are ways that this can be done and still produce healthy and prolific plants. One doable project that you can do is making your own compost. Make a simple compost bin, throw in your kitchen scraps and garden wastes and you will have more than enough compost to fertilize your plants.

Making use of recycled items is another way of going green. By doing this you are giving a second life to an otherwise useless item. It can be an old collection of clay pots that you got tired of but will find a new look in the garden. It may even be old containers that you can use for replanting more greens. In other words, “reduce, recycle and reuse” should be your mantra.
