Saving the Earth is on the minds of many. One way to do it is to find alternative energies. Using fossil fuels is just bad. Fossil fuels pollute the planet. Two alternative sources are making way, solar and wind. Slowly these energies are reaching our homes. Solar has solar heating and lighting while wind has residential wind turbines.
Both these energies made headways in cost in the past 20 to 30 years. Advances in technology have dropped their price considerably. Residential wind turbines are ideal in rural settings. They will need winds of 7 to 10 miles per hour in order for it to be effective. The cost of return is between 6-15 years. It’s a good long term investment.
