solar heating panels

There are now homes that use solar energy for various purposes. For instance, solar heating panels are used to channel the sun’s radiation to heat water either directly or indirectly with the help of a thermodynamic collector. On the other hand, there are also solar heating designs that use passive solar heating. This one does not require electrical or mechanical equipment. They may just rely on the design and structure of the house to collect, store and distribute heat throughout the building.

Typical solar heating systems consist of solar heating panels or collectors with a heat transfer fluid that flows through them. This fluid transports the heat energy collected to somewhere useful such as a hot water tank or household radiators. Solar panels must be located in areas with good light levels throughout the day such as the roof of the house.
